Vacation: Part 1

We are home from vacation!  The weather was great and we had such a fantastic time.  I want to share some pictures with you.  Instead of posting them all in one long post, I'm going to post them over a couple of days.

We got up early on Friday and left the house around 5:15.  Everyone fell back asleep in the car for a few hours.  Daddy took pictures of the kids once they woke up.

Lily was still sleepy.
Apparently Daddy was too because his finger is in this picture.
Isabella was in the back with all our stuff.
I drove.  Daddy's hand is in this picture too.

After 10 hours in the car, we arrived in North Carolina at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Everyone was happy to be out of the car.  We had dinner and rested.  The next day was a fun one.

Raymond wanted to explore the yard.

We went to a local farm to get some strawberries.

While we were there Raymond and Isabella met Bentley.  Raymond LOVES bulldogs.  Chris and I are seriously considering getting one for Raymond once Sadie passes away.  Hopefully that's not for a long time though!
Raymond was waving to me.
There was a little store and bakery at the farm.

After the farm we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and rested a little.  Then we headed to the beach.  It was a little too cool to swim but it was nice to play and put our feet in the water.
Isabella is the only one of the kids who had ever been to the beach before.

Lily looked so cute!!!  She really enjoyed herself.

Raymond had a lot of fun at the beach.  He would go to the edge of the water and as the tide came in, he would turn around and run like crazy, all while yelling with sheer joy.

We got up early on Sunday and headed to Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bo's house in Florida.  It was an even longer car ride.  Check back to see more pictures from that leg of our trip!

Until Next Time!
Lots of Love,
