Some of you might remember that I have been keeping track of any discrepancies that I find at the check-out of the stores we shop at. I daubed this list "retail blunders". My mom had suggested that I keep track of it since I was always catching errors.
Well, it has been a year already. The grand total from August 1, 2010 to August 1, 2011 is $285.81! That is a lot! So next time you're at the register about to pay for your items, remember to watch and make sure everything scans the right price.

The place were it happened most was Redner's (grocery store) even though the dollar value wasn't the largest.
The largest dollar value was at K-mart @ $34.76 (from 3 separate visits).

Do you catch it as it is being rung up or do you check the receipt afterwards. I have been more vigilante and caught a few mistakes in the past few weeks. I love the decorations on the blog page. Very bright and cheery!
99% of the time I catch it at the register. Even so, I still always check the reciept before I leave the store.
