Raymond's speech therapist has been telling me about a CD that takes songs for children and slows them down. She thought it might be beneficial for Raymond. The problem was she had heard about the CD at a conference some time ago and couldn't remember what it was called. We finally found it. The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America has created the CD, Time to Sing!. It has 26 songs, 99% of which most kids know (no obscure songs you've never heard of).
Raymond really seems to love the CD. He especially likes the Itsy Bitsy Spider because he knows all the hand gestures. I would recommend the CD to anyone who has a child with speech or hearing delays. However, Isabella and Lily also enjoy the music and they have neither of those problems.
